Lines Through Copies Made With Document Feeder
When I make copies, send faxes, scan documents through the top document feeder, I get lines through the copies, faxes, and scanned documents. What do I need to do to correct?

Please download a manual from Helpowl for your device. It will help you with the following: You will notice the document feeder uses a different light source that the flat bed scanner. It is located on the left where the document feeds into the scanning area. If you open the lid you will find a glass covering the light source. Dirt on this glass result in lines on the scanned/copied/faxed item as it is your paper moving over the glass. Clean it with a soft cloth and your problem is solved.
