8730w Will Not Boot With Battery

If your laptop boots up fine without the battery, but won't boot with the battery, the first thing to try replacing is the battery itself. If it won't boot with the new battery either, you may have to replace the power board/battery charger board if the laptop has one; otherwise, it will probably be the motherboard.
