The problem is usually caused by printing a file with font, size, or page formating errors on a printer with out of date firmware.

Once the error has occurred, the only way to use the printer again is to cycle the power and delete the print job from the server or print queue.

Occationally a hard reset is required.

Make sure that the job is cancelled before powering the printer on again or the error will return.

You should try updating the firmware to the latest version from the HP website.
