2840 Black Toner Problem

We've just had a problem with an HP toner for the 2840 AIO. The printer suddenly reported that the toner unit had to be replaced, with no advance warning ("Our new black toner"). The toner only lasted five WEEKS, whereas these units reliably last for 5-6 MONTHS for us.
