Some laptops have an easy way to remove passwords. Simply remove the CMOS battery. But, others have more complex system of security. I have put a link to HP for your device.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/error?errorType=404.

I have also added a link to a question of the forum which may help you.

http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Other-Notebook-PC-Que...

This talks about a laptop that is not the same but may have the same bios system.

This is another:

If you hit the F10 key while your starting up it will take you into whats known as the BIOS, from here you should be able to change certain settings, as far as how you boot up or who admin is.

Hope that helps, If it doesnt let me know the make of the system and I will dive into it deeper
