How Do I Mark Questions With 'i Don't Know' So They Don't Get Presented Anymore
Current Answers

Adding an "I don't know" answer option would not be advisable, because (1) it will not stop the questioner from repeating the question if he/she is so inclined, (2) Help Owl staff can and does cancel questions it believes are inappropriate [although these actions are not perfectly applied], and (3) the fact that you don't know the answer should not stop other answerers from answering that question, and (4) if a question is repeated, it may appear to new volunteers or others who did not see the question the first time around.
So I don't think presenting that question to Help Owl staff would be a productive use of your time.
