Haward Power Flo Pump--model S48a85a04, Sp-1515-z1-ew,

Hello, I am trying to replace this above pump with basket. The problem I am seeing is that the outlet from the pump is facing the wrong way. Can it be unbolted and turned w/o causing damage? what about the gasket. Is there a exact replacement for my pump because the numbers are not the exact same. Thanks in advance. Russ S.
