Pump And Filter Connection

I currently have a hayward sp1510-z1 1 hp.My filter canister connects at the bottom horizontally to the Hayward power flow pump. Looking to replace as seems to have burned out . Is there a warranty on them? Looking on line the pics show the middle part that connects to the filter in the upright position. The photo I am sending is my setup. Will I be able to readjust the middle section of the pump down to a horizontal position to accommodate for my set up if I purchase a new power flow lx sp1580 pool pump..??
