Flex Tube Nest Ecx4035 For Hayward Perflex De Filter Ec40ac
Do you ever need to replace the flex tube nest? My pool pressure is high and the flow from the filter is very low? All hoses and systems are clear and open with no blockages noted. Pump is working fine. No electrical problems noted.
Do I need the whole flex tube nest or just the flex tubes for inside the tubes? How hard are these to replace?

I've had to replace some of the "fingers" in the nest. You could replace the whole nest or just each individual "finger". I think you need to determine what is causing your problem first. I had a crack in the top of the nest which was allowing DE to go back into the pool. Ripped fingers could do the same. You have to remove the nest from the tank and inspect/examine it or have a pool expert/person do so. Hope this helps.
