There are a few reasons why your Hayward HCC 4000 transmitting won't turn off. Here are some of the most common causes:

The timer is set to transmit. If the timer is set to transmit, the transmitting light will stay on even after the pump has turned off. To turn off the transmitting light, you will need to change the timer setting.

The pool is not balanced. If the pool is not balanced, the transmitting light may stay on as a warning that the pool needs to be balanced. To turn off the transmitting light, you will need to balance the pool.

The transmitter is defective. If the transmitter is defective, the transmitting light may stay on even after the pump has turned off. In this case, you will need to replace the transmitter.

Here are the steps on how to fix the Hayward HCC 4000 transmitting won't turn off problem:

Check the timer setting. If the timer is set to transmit, change the timer setting to off.

Check the pool balance. If the pool is not balanced, balance the pool.

Replace the transmitter. If the transmitter is defective, replace the transmitter.

If you have checked all of these things and the transmitting light is still on, you may need to contact Hayward customer support for further assistance.

Here are some safety tips to keep in mind when troubleshooting your Hayward HCC 4000 transmitting won't turn off problem:

Always disconnect the power to the pump before working on it.

Be careful not to touch the electrical components of the pump.

If you are not comfortable troubleshooting the problem yourself, contact a qualified electrician or pool technician.

I apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing with your Hayward HCC 4000 pool controller. If the screen on your controller shows "sending data to poolcomm" for an extended period and you are unable to access the menu, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Power Reset: Disconnect the power supply to the pool controller by either unplugging it or turning off the circuit breaker that supplies power to the unit. Leave it disconnected for a couple of minutes, then plug it back in or switch the circuit breaker back on.

2. Factory Reset: If the power reset doesn't resolve the issue, you can try performing a factory reset on your Hayward HCC 4000 controller.

Please note that this step will erase all your settings, so it's essential to have them recorded beforehand. To do a factory reset, consult your user manual for the specific instructions, as the process may vary depending on your model.

I hope this is helpful? PLEASE "ACCEPT" and mark it "HELPFUL" to complement my little effort. Hope to bring you more detailed answers.
