Clogged Flexbrew

When I was away, my roommate used my flexbrew coffee machine several times without a filter (on the 12 cup coffee side) and when I came home it was clogged so badly with ground it would only filter maybe 1/2 a cup of liquid on either side. I tried rinsing it out inside and no luck. Is there a way to fix it or do I need to get a whole new machine?
