Haier Hprd 12xh5 Noisy
Unit cools just fine but is very noisy when in cooling mode. Runs quietly when just fan is running. I can not find any support on the Haier website and would like to open the unit up and see if there is a bearing that can be replaced or determine if this requires an entire compressor.

The previous answer provides solutions for noise due only to the fan, which you've ruled out.
Try turning the product off, waiting five minutes, and turning it on. If that doesn't solve, hold down the power button, unplug the product and then plug it in while holding down the power button. It will then run through a test sequence as you hold down the power button, beeping when it is done. You may need Haier to interpret the results: use the contact information here--https://www.contacthelp.com/haier/customer-service.
