Normally, the "G" terminal on the air handler is wired with the G wire from the thermostat. This wire regulates how the fan operates. The fan is activated when the thermostat requests cooling or circulation by sending a signal to the air handler through the G wire. The HVAC system then circulates air thanks to the fan. The G wire must be connected correctly in order for the fan to function appropriately in response to the settings on your thermostat, whether it be for cooling, heating, or simply moving air.

The G wire on a Haier HB3600VD1M22 thermostat is the fan wire. It connects to the fan terminal on your air handler. The fan terminal is usually labeled "FAN" or "G".
If you are connecting the G wire to a new air handler, consult the air handler's manual to find the fan terminal. If you are connecting the G wire to an existing air handler, the fan terminal should already be connected to the G wire from your old thermostat.
Here are the steps on how to connect the G wire from your Haier HB3600VD1M22 thermostat to your air handler:
