My Air Conditoners Broken!

i have a 5000 btu haier ac and just recently the temp numbers have been saying 32 then 45 46 45, it doesnt get cold and its not even a year old yet. I have no money right now to get a new one and its a hot day right now and its going to be a hot week as well. can you tell me what i need and whats wrong with it?
