How Do I Retrieve My Original Email Address On Gmail.com

I have been resetting my password on google for the past weeks at google request. Google also wants a secondary email address ..so I established one today. Now my original address is not available to me...it has all of my mail, stored mail,stc. My secondary address comes up when I open my email. How do I remedy this and get back all of my mail.  I just tried sending this letter using the secondary e-mail address and your site states that it is an invalid address...so, i will enter the original and primary address  of"[email protected]"  to see if it is forwarded to you. I am also giving you the secondary address of "[email protected]. Please respond using both as I doubt that the original will be availoable to me. Thank you.
