Change My Email From Cox.net To Gmail.com
I am trying to get into the internet. The message says they will submit my recovery information to [email protected]. This address is no longer valid. How do I get this changed to gmail.com? We moved and Cox does not serve this area.

Your question is not compoletely clear. Maybe you're saying you have no trouble using your Gmail account, but some other Web-based program wants to send recovery information to your invalid Cox.net address. If that's the case, you need to resolve the issue with that other program.
If however Cox.net email is licensed from Google and is essentially Gmail, you cannot convert the Cox email to regular Gmail. You can however open a new Gmail account, at https://mail.google.com/.
