Hard Wire

The installation instructions call for the junction box to be located at least 28" high and on the right side of the cabinet. My current junction box is 24" high and on the left side. Is that a problem if I run a pig tail to the current box?

As long as its directly wired from the power source to the junction box it should be fine. My range is connected to a junction box laying under the oven in the floor. Your area my require a different setup due to its electrical code.
