Why does my GE washer keep saying lid?
When a GE washer lid keeps locking, unlocking, or clicking, the problem could be anything from a faulty lid lock to a failing lid lock sensor. Clicking locks often signify a snapped plastic component or insecure lid attachment. Replacing the lid lock, latch, or sensor may solve the problem.
How do you reset the lid on a GE washer?
Unplug the washer for one minute, then plug the washer back into the electrical outlet and lift and lower the lid six times within 12 seconds. This will reset the motor and you should be able to start the cycle.
Why is my GE washer stuck on pause?
The pause can happen for several reasons, including a power failure or if the stop/pause button was pressed to pause the cycle and not reset. Whatever the model, if your machine is stuck in a cycle, try to reset the GE washer first
