Why Is My Ge Gfss2hcyss Beeping?

My GE 3-door refrigerator model GFSS2HCYSS (bottom freezer) is beeping almost non stop. I have noticed that the beep comes from the energy saver button. I have tried opening and closing the doors to make sure that they seal properly but I am not sure how to tell if they don't. What can it be, how can I fix this? Please help! The beeps are driving us crazy!
