What Causes The Relief Valve To Keep Going Off And Then Cold Water To Leak?

I've lowered temp to around 100. after being on GeForce around 12 hours relief valve starts sounding like pressure cooker. I've replaced relief valve. This is a new unit installed 3 days ago.
