Just Installed New Hot Water Heater From Homedepot Model Ge40t06aag01 No Hot Wtr

The user manual states that this is electric only, not gas so I'll go from that angle.

Is the circuit breaker turned on?  Is the water inlet turned on?  Can you hear anything happening inside?

I would suggest that the unit is defective and should be returned for exchange.
