Does It Have An Anode?

On my 2.5 gal unit the anode is on the bottom. You have to remove the bottom cover, the round white one. The pluge is 1 1/16" so tight with the sealent I had to use a air impact wrench. I had 5 calls to tech support before they told me where to look. i hope this helps everyone.
