Not Draining, But Angle Is Right

I have GE AJEH12DCCM2 that keeps overflowing out the front while the back is completely dry. I have washed the unit out, will work properly for a couple weeks then the same problem occurs. I assume the passageway from front to back is plugging up. Can this be enlarged? Or an additional passage way be created?
