How To Stop Speaker Button From Flashing?

I have a GE Edge 25982EE3 phone and the speaker button is flashing on the corded phone.  How do I get the speaker button to stop flashing?  Can't find anything about it in the manual.

scroll thru menu until you get to default settings, set default settings to yes. this fixed mine. let me know if it works for you. [email protected]
