My Gateway Ne56r41u Laptop Does Not Have The Battery Lock & Release Buttons, How
do I remove the battery?

If the lock switch isn't present is there an opening where the lock should be. If so take a small screwdriver & try to move it to release the battery lock. If there's no switch opening then just try slideing the battery cover off.
