User And Password
how can erase the password i do not remember what can i do. i took off the jumper from the motherboard and the battery. but still it does not work.

How long did you leave the battery out for? I've seen where you must leave it out for over an hour before the CMOS will clear.
Gateway has little information available about clearing BIOS passwords. Basically just to remove battery as noted here in their tutorial:http://support.gateway.com/s/tutorials/Tu_839560.shtml
Also make sure you reboot a few times after connecting/disconnecting the BIOS password jumper.
