Just Started Saying The Display Driver Has Stopped Responding

computer continually started saying that the display driver had stopped responding and has been reset. Random fuzz appears on the screen and programs crash. Computer gets a blue screen due to the video card not responding. This is out of no where. Did the video card take a dump? I cleaned out all the dust and that made it work fine for a day. Now that doesn't even help.

The causes can be complicated, but this issue mostly happens for one or more of the following reasons:

The display driver is outdated, missing, corrupted or broken.
Your video card is very old and there isn't a fully compatible video driver for your Windows OS.
There are too many programs running at the same time in the background, which causes conflicts.
It takes more time than permitted for GPU to display graphics to your monitor.
