Battery With Lighting Bolt Thru It

I bought a charger that plugs into a 120V outlet for my Garmin 50LM GPS. I was sent a charger for a blackberry, (the writing was so small I didn't notice it was for a blackberry) the usb hookup fit, so I tried charging my battery. Now when I plug the GPS into my power source in my car, on the go to screen, it show a battery fully charged with a lighting bolt thru it. When I go to next screen it shows the battery with just one bar. Is my battery OK, or should I replace it? Thanks
