How To Mark And Record Places Using Gpsmap76cx?

I am working with a telecommunication company and it bought me a GPSmap76Cx but did not train how to use it. I am supposed to use it in locating routes of cables and marking exact places of joints. So I just wanted to find out if it is possible for to help me? Yours, Rex
