No Power

when I step on the gas to drive the truck revvs up to 3000rpms but only goes 20kms perhour. Sometimes the car travels 80kms per hour but the rpms will fluctuate between 2000 and 3000 at the same speed? Not sure how much it will cost and if it is worth fixing as it is a 2000.
