Replaceing Sending Unit.

I have a 1995 Yukon 5.7 Eng. To change out the sending unit in tank...do I need to drop tank or can I go thru the floor area?

I don't think there is an access panel in the floor, so you will have to lower the tank enough to remove the sending unit. You could pull up the carpet and check, but none of the Yukon forums I checked mention an access panel for sending unit removal.
