The 2 bolts that hold your microwave in the cabinet above the unit, once removed the unit will drop away from the front & must be lifted off the bracket inserts. The brackets are mounted to the wall with screws & can be removed. If you are going to replace it the brackets on the wall can be used to mount a new MW.
