Oven Smells Like Gas Before It Lights. What The Issue?

turn oven on to pre cycle....smells like gas but oven lights, whats the issue

The ignitor is a little slow to spark & you are just smelling the unburned gas. As long as there's just a short ignition delay it will be fine.
