Washer Will Not Run. Door Light Is On But Not Locked. 1500 Ohms On Switch.

The washer will not fill with water. The door lock light comes on but I did not hear anything. Opened the door with the light on. Removed the door switch and checked resistance which was 1500 ohms. Opened the swich and it looked ok. Not sure how to check the other coils, and don't know if there is any sensing to keep the washer from working when the lock does not engage.
