Hi – Generally speaking, the temperature control in a Frigidaire upright freezer is located directly behind the temperature control knob. Make sure the unit is turned off completely and the evaporator cover and gasket will need to be unscrewed to get directly to it. Before repairing or replacing any parts of your appliance, might want to consider contacting a professional to move forward accurately due to safety and liability reasons. They also usually warranty their labor just in case something else may turn out be the root cause of your initial problem. I suggest this in the event that if the unit has a limited warranty and if you continue it will cause the warranty to be voided.
