Ffph25m4lb Noise Coming From The Temperature Control Box.

I bought a new FFPH25M4LB compact refrigerator. There is a clicking/popping sound coming from the temperature control box every 5 minutes when the compressor goes ON and OFF. Sounds like something with a spring in the temperature control box is hitting metal. Which adjustments or replacement parts are needed to remove or reduce this noise?

Hello Anonymous-114568 – Your new high-efficiency refrigerator may make unfamiliar sounds. These are all normal sounds and soon will become a common hum or click in your home. This noise also indicates your refrigerator is operating as designed. Hard surfaces, such as vinyl or wood floors, walls, and kitchen cabinets may make sounds more noticeable. Based on the particular noise that you are describing, it sounds like it is the thermostat clicking on and off. If you feel that there may be some other issue occurring, feel free to go to the manufacture website where you can easily locate a service provider in your area.
