Not Cooling 300 Sq. Ft. Room

Hello.   I recently purchased this unit and it is not cooling a room that is 300 sq. ft. I have had it at 60 degrees for 2 days and the room is still warm.

Hello jriveraiv – Thank you for your question. According to the model number posted above, you have a 10,000 BTU-Cooling air conditioner, is that correct? If so, an 8,000 BTU’s air conditioner is recommended for a room of 300 square foot. Since it is a new install, make sure the unit is correctly rated for the size of the room; the unit may be too small or too large for the room. You may also check that the airflow to the unit is not block by drapes, furniture, blinds, and etc, which could restrict air distribution.
