Fra102bt1 A/c Doesn't Cool.

Filter is clean, wire does not touch fins, no leaking or icing, just not cold.  Is on max setting, but fins don't even feel cold - I can't tell if compressor coming on or not.  Question: does compressor come on even when freon low? Also, how do I check for low freon?

On our 10,000 BTU units we do not use a sealed system in the unit. So you would not have a freon issue. It is most likely, from what you have described, a compressor or control board concern. Now these units are not able to be serviced, for they are too small of an appliance or unit to be worked on. Depending on how old the unit will depict if you still have a limited warranty carried on it from us here at Frigidaire.
