What Does A E9 Code Mean ?? Frigidare Freezer

Are you sure the code is "E9"? This manufacturer does not have an E9 in their error code directory. They have things like ES, or FS, and then CL or OF.

yes it was a e9 i found out that meant the circuit for the thermistor was open/// the harness was bad down by the hinge.///but now it runs all the time & won't shut off no matter where i set it // thnx //Ken
