Hello morgaam2003 – Your new high-efficiency refrigerator may make unfamiliar sounds. These are all normal sounds and soon will become a common hum in your home. Hard surfaces, such as vinyl or wood floors, walls, and kitchen cabinets may make sounds more noticeable. Based on the noise you are describing, it sounds like most likely you are hearing the fingers moving to create the ice in the icemaker or the mold itself. This is normal when ice gets stuck in a certain position and hitting the mold. However, should you feel that a service technician is needed now to confirm that the unit is operating correctly; you may visit the manufacturer website to find a provider in your area that will look at your unit.
