When I Push My Ice Maker The Door Opens And Shuts Quickly No Ice Dispenses?

My Frigidaire refrigerator automatic ice maker stopped working. When I push the paddle to get ice, the door open and shuts quickly withour dispensing ice. However, if I manually grab the door while pushing in the paddle the ice dispenses fine. Is the is solenoid issue?

I understand that your ice dispenser is not dispensing when you press on the chute but will dispense when you hold the door open and press the chute. I know you are asking if it a solenoid issue, but its sounds like it could possibly be an issue with your dispenser module or control board. I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. –Chris
