Hello dianemhickox - Typically error codes SY & EF indicates that the refrigerator has detected an evaporator fan circuit failure. Try resetting the refrigerator by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn the unit back on. If issue persists, a further diagnoses is recommended to have a professional check the wiring between the main control board and evaporator fan since either part could need replacing.
