Runs Too Long

We have always used the quick cycle which would consistently run for 48 minutes. All of a sudden it displays 48 minutes at the start of a wash and after the first wash cycle jumps to 99 plus. Could you explain what might be happening?

Hi Gliming,

I understand you are experiencing a long run time on your Frigidaire dishwasher, model FGHD2465NF. For this model dishwasher the Quick Clean cycle can vary approximately 55 to 105 minutes depending on the soil level inside the dishwasher. Additionally, an automatic sensor will check the incoming water temperature and, if it is not hot enough, the timer will be delayed for automatic water heating in the main wash of all cycles. This happens even when HI-TEMP WASH option has not been selected. When HI-TEMP WASH is selected, an even higher temperature will be guaranteed to handle heavier soil loads. Also, make sure that the delay start option has not been selected. If you find that these tips are not helpful in resolving your concerns I would suggest contacting a local authorized technician to diagnose and properly repair your dishwasher.

Thanks,
