Durability Of Plastic Control Panel

I am thinking of buying this stove and have been cautioned about the plastic panel's durability.  I want to know how often it has needed to be replaced by other customers, and whether it is covered by warrenty.  Thanks.

Typically you wouldn't see a problem unless you are using too high of a flame on the front burners and a too big of a pot - and the flame goes around the pot and possibly towards the plastic front panel. You'll have to check with Frigidaire on their exact first year warranty. Some manufacturer's consider it cosmetic, but some will cover it in a certain period of time.
