Gas Stove

I want to know why my oven is not heating? It has a orange light when on bake, and smell like its burning but nothing is heating up.... can you tell me what may be the cause of this?

Hi richardsins8462 - Try resetting the unit by unplugging it or flipping the breaker off. While the unit is off confirm that the shut off valve on the gas pressure regulator is in the “ON” position (usually located on the back left-hand side of the range). This valve shuts off gas to the oven. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn on the range. If setting the unit proves to be ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately. The range could possibly be experiencing a communication issue with the EOC or wiring failure and needs a further diagnosis.
