Light Stay On.
The light on cooktop stay on. My cooktop mod: FGEC3665KB1 and SER:3F92507612.

There's no mention of the cooktop light staying on in the manual. I suggest you powercycle the unit by turning off the circuit breaker for 10 minutes & then reset the breaker & see if that will resolve the issue.
