Good Afternoon Glcerrone61,

I see that you’re curious as to how your Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher, model# FGBD2445NF, vents due to your dishes not drying completely. Your appliance vents through the top left hand side of the door. Here are some tips to possibly help your dishes dry better:

1) Deselect the Air Dry option.

2) Make sure the rinse aid dispenser is filled. If you’re not using rinse aid you might want to. The rinse aid helps to dry the dishes.

3) Increase the discharge setting of the rinse aid.

4) Check the incoming water temperature. Be sure it is close to at least 120°F (49°C).

5) Check for proper loading—avoid nesting items.

6) Plastic items may need to be towel dried.

7) Cups with a concave bottom will collect water. Load them at the far left and right of the upper rack so they will be held in a tipped position.

I hope this has been helpful.

-Best Regards-
