Hello leoplante - Sounds like the Child Lock option may have been selected. This is a safety feature that allows you to lock and unlock the controls to keep children from interfering with the wash cycle etc. Press and hold the AIR DRY pad button for 3 seconds while the door is latched. This should unlock the control pad for you, light goes out and the unit will display the last cycle ran. However, if it does not, try resetting the unit by unplugging it for flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn the unit back on. However, if it proves to be ineffective I recommend contacting a professional to assist further. The dishwasher may possibly have faulty door lock switch or a communication issue with the main control board.
