Frf170ff - How Do I Stop Temperature And Alarm Continually Flashing

I have an upright FRF170FF freezer. The door was left every so slightly open yesterday causing the temperature to raise to -2 and the alarm to sound. The freezer temperature is now at its optimum of -18 so it appears to be working correctly, however the termperature and the alarm lights are still continually flashing - I know there is a way to reset this but can't remember how, so any help appreciated.

Hello w1991email010, thank you for your post!

From what you have described, let's attempt resetting the alarm of your freezer. You can do this by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. After deactivating the alarm and your freezer has run approximately four hours, the red light/alarm should go off on its own. If the red light/alarm continues to stay on, your freezer may possibly have a communication problem with the control board, temperature control or a wiring harness. If this is the case, I would recommend connecting with an experienced technician to determine the underlying cause.
