12 Cubic Foot Ref Fan Noise
My refrigerator makes what sounds like a fan noise. When I open the lower compartment door it stops. After I close the door the noise resumes. My frigidaire refriderator is 5 years old. How do I access the fan(s)?

The only you can reach with this unit is inside of the top freezer compartment it is no bigger than 4 inches in diameter. However if you are having this noise gettting louder, with such a small cubic feet unit, no service provider will easily repair or touch the unit for there are no replacement parts with this manufacturer on such a unit any longer. You are best to invest your repair money and efforts into a new unit with a warranty.
